Dec 2010 was a sad month for me , but a proud one as I hang up my woggle and scarf of 1st Benwick Scout Group having completed a year which saw four Scouts gain their Gold Chief Scout Award.. My son and I are proud of helping them with this, but they worked very hard with 8 Challenge Badges  BRAVO for the last time.

2 ex members of 2nd Wisbech but still in scouting have just set off from Hartlepool in there 3rd Tall Ship adventure. Again thankyou to Norfolk Boats for funding and sponsering them.

2nd Wisbech Scouts are developing links with Classrooms In The Clouds.

We are aiming to complete a 4 mile hike to raise £335 to sponsor a child to attend school in Lukla, high in the Himalayas, and £335 towards our own funds.

Later in the year we taking part in a 150K hike round the Wash and we aim to raise enough money to install a computer and webcam in the school so we can talk to the child we have sponsored!

Finally, we aim to have built up our hiking ability and our fundraising enough to Climb Scout peak and visit the school and meet the child we have sponsored!!!

..... 4 Pathfinder Explorers bring home 4 Shields as they came 2nd Overall in the Scouts/Explorer County Competition!!!!! Well done Ely Tiger's.

..... 3 Explorer's complete there 2nd Tall Ship Race on 30th July 2009 - Philip, James N and James G.

..... 2nd June 2009, 3 Explorer's have gain their Bronze D.O.E , Bravo too James N, James G and Lewis P.. Proud Parents and Explorer Leader !!!!!!!!
