Scouts
and Explorers Mepal Skills Weekend

Scouts and Explorers spent a very enjoyable weekend at Mepal Outdoor Centre
taking part in a competition doing various outdoor pursuits such as kayaking,

Ride
for Ryder

Recently 3 of our Explorers took a break
from
revision for their GCSEs to take part
in
"Ride for Ryder" in Ely on a Sunday morning.
They were inspired to do something to help the
Sue Ryder charity, after a representative from
the
charity attended an Explorer Scout meeting
to
tell the group about the work of the Sue Ryder
charity.
James Nott, Lewis Parnell and James Geddis
all
entered the event and cycled the 17 mile route in
just
under 3 hours. They have raised over £170
between
them in sponsorship.
Many
thanks for taking the time to read our newsletter. For more information on any
aspect of our group please visit our website at www.2ndwisbechscoutgroup.zoomshare.com

Best
Wishes from all at 2nd Wisbech Scout Group
